Welcome to the Art of Gratitude session… Being grateful enhances your life, and clears out old negative beliefs…

So, allow yourself to extend thanks today in this powerful session…

Find a place somewhere you enjoy sitting, or lying down… you can already begin to feel grateful for this time you have allotted only to you… adjust your position so that you are relaxed and all of your muscles can let go… in order to maximize your comfort, allow your eyes to gently close.

Take a big deep breath in and out.

Draw in another slow and deep breath and bring into your mind the feeling of gratitude.

Perhaps someone came to mind that you love… or maybe you are grateful for something...

Clearly see in your mind’s eye whatever you are grateful for…

Now, where in your body is the feeling of gratitude expressed?

Do you feel it rise in your heart? Perhaps your abdomen… Wherever you feel these sensations, observe their quality… what does gratitude feel like, physically?
Think now of someone, person or animal, that brightens your life… they can be here, or they can be gone… see them in your mind… as clear as if they are right beside you… hear them… maybe they even have a familiar scent for you...

Bring alive this person with your imagination and carry with it all the sensations of gratitude…

Let these sensations grow and expand in your body, as you imagine perhaps hugging this person you love…

(Pause)

Say, to them now, “Thank you” from the bottom of your heart…

Now, let’s become grateful for something you have...
